First of all, I went to PINKPOP!
Sorry for overreacting ;) but it was really really awesome. I saw a lot of artists I wanted to see. I saw The Script (2nd time, they were awesome again and I enjoyed every second of their performance); Paramore (What a performance and what an energy!)
Handsome Poets (didn't really know them, except for their song sky on fire of course)
The Killers (I saw them front row, which was amazing!)
And all that on only 1 day....
The next 2 days I saw
La Pegatina (never heard of them, but it was a nice start of the day)
Douwe Bob (he's a dutch singer-songwriter, and his songs are very good!)
Fun. (and freaking front row! Fun was really amazingggg!!! I did mis Passenger though, but it was still amazing, I will see Passenger another time, that's for sure)
The Gaslight Anthem (O.M.G. I finally saw them! I was seriously in heaven, their music is just so good and makes me feel great, whenever I am up or down, this was one of my best Pinkpop moments)
And I saw a little bit of The Opposites, 30 Seconds to Mars and Kings of Leon, were all great but I just couldn't see them all.
Kensington (was nice, nothing less, nothing more, but nice)
Ben Howard (also one of my best Pinkpop moments, Ben is just sooo amazing and his music really touches you, I don't know how, but it does. And he also played some new songs so I was honoured to be one of the first to hear them. Believe me, I can't wait till they are released!)
And I saw also a little bit of Green Day, wish that I had seen more of them but well, I wasn't on my own there so I could not just drag my friend around to every performance.
It was a wonderful weekend, could have been better but I am so glad with everything that I saw.
My absolute highlights:
The Gaslight Anthem and Ben HowardSo here's a tribute to them:
